On approximating operators in polynomial weighted spaces
This paper was motivated by approximation results given by the M. Becker ([3]), G. Kirov and L. Popova ([10]) and D. D. Stancu ([16]). We give approximation theorems for certain linear and positive operators defined in polynomial weighted spaces Cp and Cr of functions of one variable.
