This article analyses the possibility of approximating the surfaces with negative Gauss curvature of form: (S) : ¯r = (f(t), M(t, v), N(t, v)) or (f(v), M(t, v), N(t, v)) with surfaces of form (Sm) : ¯r = (y, U(x, y), V (x, y)) or (x, U(x, y), V (x, y)), where U(x, y) + iV (x, y) = F(z) is a monogenous function in D ⊂ R2 , simple connected.
