carpathian_2007_23_063_072We use the fixed point method to obtain stability theorems of Ulam-Hyers type for some functional equations. The method uses the fixed point alternative as a meaningful device on the road to a better understanding of the stability property, plainly related to some fixed point of a concrete operator.
