Abstract

carpathian_1997_13_189_198Frequently the surfaces to be modeled have discontinuities/ If the surface represent geological faver boundaries, the discontinuities mean faults. In all others cases the term fault is fast a mathematical concept A fault-modeling algorithm is described here it was implemented in a general-purpose surface modeling software package(ZAZA). A fault-modeling sample is showed.
